According to the Philippine Department of Labor and Employment or DOLE, Region 7 which is composed of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor, posted an increase of 6.2 percent or 168,000 more people employed for the 12-month period.
The region's employment rate increase is 4% above the national figure of 2.2%.
Region 7's robust employment rate is basically fueled by thriving service and manufacturing sector in Cebu and the rising tourism industry in Bohol.
This is certainly good news for the job seekers in Region 7 and as well as to those who wish to move in the region.
